My name is Jodie, I’m a full time support worker & chose to begin my pilates instructor journey because I enjoyed doing pilates so much myself, I wanted to be able to share my love for it with others and allow people to experience the positive feelings I get from doing a class. The next goal is to complete the pre & postnatal course to further my knowledge and instruct classes full time ✨

Before starting my combined pilates course I was a field operations manager, re-housing vulnerable people. I decided to complete my combined pilates course as I was attending classes each week and loved how I was feeling and seeing the changes in my body. Aswell as it really helps with my mental health and I have been lucky enough to now leave my 9-5 job and go full time in pilates which I am super grateful for. I would like to complete my personal training course and nutrition to gain more knowledge in the industry and just try to be the best I can and help all my clients to the best of my ability.

I started my Pilates Instructor Training with Synergise Me after my online training company went into liquidation. I met Lara teaching in David Lloyd and loved her style and delivery. When Lara explained she was a teacher and assessor I didn’t hesitate to sigh up to her company. I had a wealth of information from the website, face to face coaching and the ability to book a call / WhatsApp when I had a problem/question. I qualified in 2023 after 6 months training. The process was seamless and stress free. I now teach for independent studios, David Lloyd and Nuffield, and am organising retreats for 2024. Thank you Lara and Synergise Me for making my ambition to become a Pilates instructor a reality. I can’t recommend this company enough.

Massage was never going to be a career for me it was something I did to help me personally with mental health and I very soon realised how therapeutic massage was not just as a client but as a therapist also. I love learning and being in the learning setting and my overall aim would be to help others as I was helped. All this has had such a positive effect on my family life as im happy, confident and working and making choices that allow me to work around my family which is needed right now.
